Underrated E3 Games

UGO has an article up on the 'top 10 most underrated games of E3'. It is pretty much a console piece, but it is still an interesting read. While I have to disagree with them on Final Fantasy XIV (not because the game doesn't look fun, but because practically nothing was shown at E3 other than a very troubled demo) the rest of the list is pretty solid.

Red Dead Co-Op

Rockstar has word that the Red Dead Redemption DLC: Outlaws to the End should arrive on June 22nd. Best of all, the pack is free. You can get more details and see some screens on the linked page.

New Mac Mini

Apple has unveiled a new Mac mini!

Mark likes it

The new machine comes in a spiffy new aluminum body that houses a 2.4 or 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor. The new rig has HDMI out and supports the Apple remote. This makes it a very sexy potential HTPC assuming the HDMI out carries all the necessary audio goodies.

Natal now "Kinect"

Microsoft has some info up on the motion control it has been preparing for the Xbox 360. Previously referred to as Project Natal, it is now known as Kinect and was recently unveiled by Cirque de Soleil at LA’s Galen Center. Sad you missed the event? Well the event will be shown again "in a 30-minute, commercial-free special broadcast on MTV on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 3:30 pm ET, and on Nick at Nite, mtvU, MTV Hits, and Logo at 9 pm ET."

New Xbox 360

CNET has a bit up on Microsoft's new Xbox 360 'slim'. The unit is smaller and less noisy. It includes a 250GB hard drive and (finally) built-in Wi-Fi. Wired and ARS also have blurbs on the new console.

Gran Tourismo 5 HD Trailer

Duke Nukem Forever Rac... er I mean Gran Tourismo 5 has a new trailer up on YouTube. While I must admit that I am losing hope that this game will ever come out, it really does look great. Hopefully we see it in finished form soon!

MMO Gaming on your... phone?

Guild Software is announcing plans to bring Vendetta Online, a "fast paced space-MMORPG experience", to certain Android phones using NVIDIA's Tegra. For more info (on a page that is less painfully ugly than the Guild Software one) head over to Vendetta Online.

Team Fortress 2 for OS X!

Well I was a few weeks off with my guess, but it is finally here! Team Fortress 2 for the Mac has been released! You can find out more here or by simply firing up Steam. As a bonus, if you play TF2 on the Mac between now and June 14th you can unlock a set of in-game earbuds for your characters. The game is also currently 50% off.
