PC Gamer reports that the new BC2 Onslaught mode will be released for the PC version of the game as well. The co-op mode had been previously announced only for the console versions. Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, the Isla Inocentes, and Nelson Bay will be the available maps.

EA Sports NCAA Football 11 is now available. Word has it that a large patch will accompany the release. However if you snag it tonight at a midnight launch it appears to be instantly playable. I haven't had to download anything so far.

Steam brings word that the WWII shooter Day of Defeat: Source is now available for OS X. As with the previous Steam releases, if you already own the Windows version of the game, you can now simply download it for OS X. If you don't already have the game, you can pick it up for $9.99 on Steam.

Some info on the new nVIDIA 460 GTX

HTML5 is coming. Not soon, but it is on the horizon. It boasts several new features. The most exciting of which (for me anyway) are new multimedia capabilities. It could bring about the end of plugins like Flash and Silverlight for video/audio playback on the web. While this next revision, is not set to become a W3C recommendation until around 2020, many of its features are already usable and starting to appear online. How do today's browsers fair with current HTML5 content?

MMO-Champion has some fairly detailed info up on the engineering profession in the new World of WarCraft Cataclysm expansion. If you are open to spoilers, a video of the "video of the Blanchy/CSI " quest chain is also posted.

Gamespot has up some video of id Software's RAGE. The game shows off id Tech 5 and will be for... almost everything (Windows, OS X, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Linux). It looks great so far. I am loving the art direction.

Sniper

A series I loved, Age of Empires, seemed to meet an untimely end with the demise of Ensemble Studios. Now Koraku is reporting that the series may live on... at least in spirit. Ex-AoE developers are working on a new title called Spartan.
