Microsoft has a new controller for the Xbox 360. The new controller is silver and features a "transforming D-pad". To figure out what exactly that means you have to watch a Major Nelson video:

Also the button colors have changed to match the new theme. Not sure how that will work with existing games that sometimes identify buttons by color.



This follows Nelson's earlier news that the yearly price for Xbox Live Gold has increased to $60.
